Are you looking at using Kosta from Kynisi Courier Systems to ship your frozen embryos/eggs/sperm around the world ?. Well this is a blog to warn you to consider not using them. You don't want to go through what myself and others have gone through and have your embryo's kidnapped by the heartless, incompetent and rude individual who owns the company. Kynisi is exceptionally unreliable and unprofressional.
I couldn't even begin to tell you the whole story, plus it makes me feel ill every time I think about it!
But to cut a very long story short, myself and another client both booked independently with Kynisi to transport our embryo's to New Dehil, on the recommendations of our respective IVF clinics here in Australia.
We were told it would take 3 days for our Embryos to reach India....in the end it took a total of 45 days due to a number of reasons - all the time the owner could not be bothered to even contact us to let us know where and when the embro's were - we only found out that he had failed to get them into the country as our Dr in India rang us to tell us that the individual was so rude and unprepared that he got kicked out of customs. When we asked for an explanation as to why he did not do the necessary paperwork prior or contact our clinic prior for the required paperwork, he said he could not get them on the phone. He did not even try. He tried to tell us that he could not rely on a email or a mobile phone number !! This guy is living in the dark ages. Despite both of us booking seperately, he had our embro's in the same shipper and would not treat us as individual clients. We both had to decide and agree where we wanted the embryo's to go after he got kicked out of Dehli. He also lied and told us that he would return them to Australia free of charge as he could not do his job - a week later he re-negged and started demanding money.

They went from Australia to San Francisco then to London and onto Delhi where they were "detained" by Customs because he had not done the correct paperwork prior to arriving. They then went back to London and then finally back to Delhi but only after we had to do Kynis's job for him and do the paperwork for the import! We were paying this guy thousands of dollars to do a job, the reason we hired a "so called professional" in the first place was that we did not want to be bogged down with paperwork but we eneded up having to do his job for him and then he held us to ransom for the $ - even though he did not do his job. I won't go into the details behind this as it's not necessary..suffice to say it was a living nightmare for both parties involved. This man had no ethics - he made someone else with no expeirience do his job for him and then held us ransom for the money - pathetic !!!
If he had done his job in the first instance and made sure all the appropriate documents etc were in place BEFORE leaving Australia this would never have happened. He is a liar and a very rude individual who just did not care that he was dealing with someone's potential children - both parties involved had already lost two babies each, and could not go through IVF again - however he just did not care and told us that we were just "infertile women - mounring our genetics". This guy is really the lowest of the low, and has a small man syndrome and the intelligence of a weed. Do not trust your precious cargo with this company -even if they are slightly cheaper. Do not rely on any communication you receive via email. If you have any doubt, ring and ask for everything in writing. Ask for a copy of his insurance documents - he won't give it to you !!
